BCS Foundation in Artificial Intelligence is a paid beginner course from QA, online or in person. It costs £1,720. It ends with an exam certification, included in the fee. Next: 23 Nov 2026.
QA doesn't say how long it takes.
Suits IT and business staff who want a BCS-accredited AI certificate with the exam included. What stands out is a classroom format with 6 months of access to QA's learning platform. The main caveat is the price: from £1,720 + VAT for three days. A lower-cost, lower-level alternative is the BCS Essentials Certificate in Artificial Intelligence, at £160 + VAT for the exam alone, without training.
Three-day instructor-led course from QA leading to the BCS Foundation Certificate in Artificial Intelligence, with the exam included. It covers ethical and sustainable AI, intelligent agents and robotics, the benefits and risks of AI projects, introductory machine learning and how humans and machines work together.
