About us | AI Course Check

It is the UK sister site of ai-courses.ie, run by the same editor, Jake Boland, and every fact comes from the provider's own page.

Who's behind AI Course Check

I'm Jake Boland. I live in Dublin and run this site in my spare time.

I spent almost 10 years at Google in People Operations and now work at Jentic, an AI startup, where I use AI agents to run day-to-day operations across HR, compliance, legal and finance. It's changed how I work more than anything else in my career, and I'm most interested in how it's changing the way companies and teams work.

When friends and colleagues ask where to start learning, I've found there's no simple answer. There's plenty of good training, much of it free or funded depending on where you live in the UK, but it's spread across dozens of websites with different prices, dates and certificates. So I built this site to put it in one place.

Every course here is checked against the provider's own page, and no one can pay to be listed. If you spot a mistake or a course I've missed, let me know.

Why does this site exist?

AI courses for people in the UK are spread across the big AI companies, professional bodies, universities and public schemes that differ by nation. Prices are shown in different currencies, with and without VAT, and certificates mean different things. We put the facts side by side so you can choose quickly.

How does it relate to ai-courses.ie?

AI Course Check is the UK sister site of ai-courses.ie, which covers Ireland. Both sites use the same methods and the same editor. Each site has its own pages, prices as shown to that market, and its own funding information.

Are you independent?

Yes. Providers can’t pay to be listed or ranked. We don’t use affiliate links. If we ever add them, they will never affect which courses we list or how we rank them, and we will label them clearly.

How do you check the courses?

Every fact on a course page comes from the provider’s own page, and we show the date we last verified it. Our methodology explains how we find, select and check courses.

Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If something on the site doesn’t work for you, please tell us using the “Report an error” form on any course page.
